Major topics include alternative energy, building codes, coal and oil consumption, energy allocation and conservation, energy interest groups and programs, low income energy assistance, public information and education, and comprehensive state energy plans and quarterly reports. These files were created by Stanley York of the Office of Emergency Energy Assistance, Steven Born of the State Planning Office, and staff of the Office of State Planning and Energy and its successor, the Division of State Energy. The processed portion of this series is summarized above, dates 1970-1987, and is described in the register. There are additional accessions dating 1978-2004 which are described below.
